This High passes trek is a classic trek which does not require technical climbing but involves crossing some of the most challenging high passes including the Chhukung Ri (5545m) climb, Kongmala Pass (5535 m), Kalapattar (5545 m), Chola Pass (5420 m) and Renjo La Pass (5345 m). The trek starts from the gateway to Everest by taking the classic flight to Lukla. From here we hike all the way to Chhukung then to Kongmala Pass passing through the famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar and Thyangboche monastery to reach Everest Base Camp. After this we will be crossing over Chola Pass to reach the beautiful and scenic valley of Gokyo with its lakes. After reaching Gokyo Ri to get some magnificent panoramic views we will be heading towards Renjo La pass to reach Thame, the famous village of Appa Sherpa; world record holder for summiting Mt. Everest highest 21 times till date (2012). From here we walk back to Lukla to catch the flight to Kathmandu.
